If you try, you might succeed to obtain oil from the sand, find water in mirage, might sight a hare with horns but however hard you try, you can not conciliate a fool.

Dear friends, I pray GOD to give me enough strength and time to complete this task of presenting a Subhashitha a day. I pray my Guru, who taught me Sanskrit in my school. He was a great teacher and till today I consider him as my role model teacher. May god bring him and his family all the happiness, prosperity and peace. I pray my father and mother who encouraged me and provided me all the facilities for my education. I consider blessed having them as parents. As I indicated in this blog I present a Subhashitha a day. Subhashitha was written by Bharthruhari as Neeti Shathakam. A Shathakam is a 100 of them. He wrote three such Shathakams called Neethi Shathakam, Shringara Shathakam and Vairagya Shathakam. Once we are done with Bharthruhari, we will look in to Telugu Subhashithas viz. Vemana Padyalu, Sumathi Shathakam. Also, Kannada's Sarvagna Padagalu too.
